The original Eitaibashi bridge was hung in 1698 for the 50th birth day of Tsunayoshi Tokugawa who was the 5th shogun of Edo. The original Eitaibashi bridge was a famous place for Edo people and painted by Hiroshige Utagawa.

The present bridge was made in 1927 as an earthquake rehabilitation undertaking. In 2007, it was authorized an important cultural property of Japan.

Eitaibashi bridge was a famous bridge in Edo period but it is still fabulous, especially with Tsukudajima island high-rise condominium at twilight and night.

The original Toyomibashi bridge was also hung in 1698. The present bridge was also made in 1927 as an earthquake rehabilitation undertaking. The structure of Toyomibashi bridge is Vierendeel (Belgian) bridge. The shape is like rudder. The reason why selected Vierendeel was the scenery balance between Eitaibashi bridge. The people say that the most beautiful view of Eitaibashi bridge is being seen through the "Window" of Toyomibashi bridge.

永代橋は、1698年(元禄11年)、五代将軍徳川綱吉の50歳を記念して造られた。永代橋は、江戸時代、広重も描く、名所だった。

現在の永代橋は、1927年(大正15年)に、震災復興事業の一つとして架けられた。2007年には、国指定重要文化財に指定されている。

永代橋は、今でも非常に美しい景色を提供している。特に、夕暮れや夜の、佃島高層マンション群とのコラボレーションは美しい。

豊海橋も、永代橋と同じく1698年(元禄11年)に架けられた。現在の豊海橋も、やはり、1927年(大正15年)に、震災復興事業の一つとして架けられた。その構造は、フォーレーンディール橋と呼ばれ、梯子を横にしたような形をしている。これは、永代橋との景観のバランスを考慮されてのことだ。この梯子の『窓』越しに見る永代橋が、最も美しいとされている。
